PLACEMENT

This program is for students ages 9-18.  All students need to be accepted into the program via one of the following methods:

• Video Audition (due 9/6/2023): Submit a video, MAX 2 minutes long, of the applicant performing. Video should be clear and of good quality. It should show the applicant’s proficiency in Hip Hop/Street Styles and Contemporary or Jazz. For example, the video could have a video performing a Hip Hop choreography (or freestyle solo) and a Jazz choreography. Performance does not have to be professional or on a stage. They should exhibit as many strengths as possible. No filters or video effects please. Video submissions should be sent no later than one week prior to the start of a season. However, admissions are rolling and will taken first come, first serve. We recommend applying early.

• Admission via PMT Kids or Kid Hop Program: Students in either of these programs at PMT House of Dance are eligible for entry into this program without a video submission. Admission is based on the teacher’s approval.

• Admission via Drop in Classes: Email pmthouseofdance@aol.com to indicate you are taking one Adv. Beg or higher level Jazz or Contemporary Class AND one Adv. Beg. or higher level Hip Hop/Street Styles. If the applicant is under 14 years old, they will need permission to attend these classes. An evaluator will be assigned to observed the classes the applicant takes. The applicant is responsible for the cost of enrollment into these classes and for attending on time.

ACCEPTANCE

You will receive a response to your application via email within 48 hours of your submission/audition.

SCHOLARSHIPS

One full scholarships and two ½ scholarships shall be awarded each season to qualified participants.  Those qualifying for a scholarship must still meet all the same requirements as other students.

There is NO tuition refund unless class is cancelled by PMT Dance Studio. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
